Do you know "Pistone Horiguchi" is famous boxer after WWⅡ?
Kanji Honda
was appointed as the coach of Toyota Motor's boxing club in 1946.
After the end of the war, he opened a boxing gym with the dream of developing a world champion.
Since the owner of the gym was a subcontractor manufacturer of Toyota by chance, Toyota asked him to instruct boxing to their boxing club, and he agree to it.
He had continued to teach it until 1955, and he developed many professional boxers including Piston Horiguchi.
In that time, Toyota also asked to clean the warehouse of Nakagawa factory of Toyota, and this order was first opportunity to establish Chunichi Cleaner Industry.
The unique company whose roots is boxing instruction is growing to have 650 employees, and our group companies totally have 1825 employees.
We are actively contributing to the promotion of local traditions and sports culture.
